Military Cemetary (MAJOR SPOILERS FOR A HUGE PUZZLE SEQUENCE)
Alright, I'm gonna type a little bit here so that you don't accidentally read a spoiler, but seriously, I'm gonna spoil the hell out of this thing.

I don't remember which grave started it, I'm wanting to say it was 11 or 12, but you get a message that reads along these lines:

Mjr. Samuel Less
___th Telegraph Div.

This tombstone seems more ornate... blah.

Died of a Broken Heart
... --- .-. .-. --- .--

Obvs, this is morse code. A quick google search later and you get the answer: Sorrow.

It will give you the next puzzle, grave 37.

Which gives you a similarly posed riddle, with the key parts being:

1st. Lt. Gal Hauteur
___th Mathematics Div.

Believed these numbers held the secret to immortality
8 21 2 18 9 19

Again, simple - it's a substitution cipher and we all know what those are. Just replace the numbers with the letters of the english alphabet they correspond to, and you get the answer. It's Hubris. You know, Hubris - like the kind of hubris it takes to give cryptography lessons in your stick figure game. ;)

So on to grave 111.

Pvt. Erin Nyovan
___th Trading Div.

Born in Distant Lands Died Penniless and Alone
EHVARQ

Anyone who played with the Zodiac Killer's case would know this just by looking at it - it's a Shift Cipher (also called a Casearean Cipher, but I can't spell that damn word). Shifting the letters each +13, you get Ruined. That's right. Ruined.

On to grave 230.

Cpl. Mort D. Funct
___th Pogo-stick Div.

Will be missed every second
Beau to Ann Yem

Alright, this one caught me offguard a bit. I knew it meant every second letter, but the result wasn't a word I recognized. Euonym.

But, yeah - it's a thing and it worked, so on to grave 370.

Grave 370:
Sgt. Denis Lawson
___th Party Div.

Crushed at bash for boulder salesmen
DVWTVW

at bash. Cute. http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/atbash.php
There's your atbash solver.

It returns the result "Wedged" and sends you forth to a new grave: 690.

And that's where I'm at. It reads as follows:

Sgt. Maj. Starr Shine
____th Naval Signals Division

Colored her hair six times a day
6:00 10:15 1:30 10:37 7:23 4:30

Starshine is a satellite program, the US navy uses flag signals, but I don't know how to translate that into what appears to be a time. More as I get it, I really just needed this as scrap paper to work on. Thanks for the lack of sleep!

As those below me were gracious enough to point out, it's a semaphore signal, and the answer is dyeing. This leads us back to grave 11, which now gets a little extra flavor text:

You notice that someone left a rock on this grave inscribed with "LOL," which everyone knows stands for "Lots of Love." How sweet! Thought you're not sure why they placed it upside-down.

... Don't despair! That message actually means something! LOL upside-down looks like 707, and that's where you should go.

Then you see the grave of General Wisen Heimer 1st. Metapuzzle Division. Take a hard look at that name, metapuzzle, and realize what it implies - that your answer is a part of the whole puzzle process. Some quick thinking from Alphyna below gives us the solution - the first letters from each of the previous puzzles.

Shrewd. Collect your 1k meat and your ominous letter, then get well-deserved sleep.

it's semaphore- imagine a clock, and then translate the clock's hands into flag signals.

here's a chart to help https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0a/Semaphore_Signals_A-Z.jpg

the answer is dyeing

Awesome guys, thanks...

And it's a huge joke.

That one leads you back to grave 11... starting the whole process over again. Yup. Back to the morse code again.

My question is, do you get anything for solving this? I've gone full circle—and nothing happened.

Well there's the message about LOL being upside down, but I have no clue what to put at plot 707

Oh ♥♥♥♥, you're right... it's the General Wisen Heimer 1st. Metapuzzle Division...

So... huh...

It's shrewd. The first letter of each previous answer.
And you do get a reward for solving that, by the way.

Nice.

Is "shrewd" really the last answer? If you type it in for the second time, it again brings up how Heimer hasn't had his last word.

Heh. :)

If I had a dollar for everything that told me I would regret this and didnt I would have like 4 maybe 5 dollars.

So have any of you find the last word? I'm really curious.

* Placing the answers in a grid gives SORROW HUBRIS RUINED EUONYM WEDGED DYEING
* Reading up and left from the bottom right corner spells GENIUS. Speaking GENIUS gets you a dream sequence.
* The dream scrolls left to right; the rocks on the ground make a braille pattern spelling THE SECRET IS IN THE TREES.
* The trees have the following pattern, where 0 denotes a short tree and 1 a tall tree: 01111 01111 00011 00001 00000 01111.
* Using 0 for a dot and 1 for a dash, these translate to the morse digits 1, 1, 3, 4, 5, 1. Indexing into our original answer list lets us extract SHINED: (S)ORROW (H)UBRIS RU(I)NED EUO(N)YM WEDG(E)D (D)YEING
* Speaking SHINED gets you a cool sapphire.
