Two New WoL Mods Released And Available For Download
Howdy everyone, I'm creating this post for a semi-official announcement that brand new mods are now available for West of Loathing!
I've made two simple mods ready for download and play:

Battle Theme Replacer[www.nexusmods.com]
The first one, just as the name implies, replaces the battle theme that you hear on the main game (Draw!) from the one exclusive to the Gun Manor DLC (Ecto Perfecto), for a more intense battle music that works well if, as one example, you're doing a playthrough using the Hard Hat.

Class Books Inheritance[www.nexusmods.com]
The second one is a sort of 'Easy Mode' mod that makes you able to obtain 8 of your chosen class' skill books right after character creation, allowing you to learn all of your class skills right at the beginning for a solid head start in the early game.

With the two mods released, this should make a way to help out WoL modding now have a much broader horizon by having a website that makes them easy to access, download and play right away. One mod that I remember being WoL: Repentance by AdanMez, that if the author so chooses can now be made available to download on the website with description and example images etc.

The mods works by using a special Mod Instalator executable, all with clear instructions to help the mods to be installed correctly.
Do hope that y'all enjoy and have a good one.

Lovely! :lunar2020ratinablanket:
This is really interesting to me, especially the fact that both of your mods can presumably be easily run together, which very much differs from Adan's Repentance (which is hardcoded into the game files). I - and I assume others as well - would be interested to discuss this and other wol/sol modding with you. (link to our community's discord in this steam post )

Woah this is really cool! I don't really have a lot of time rn, but when I get the time I'll have to check it out and figure out how to upload my mod to Nexus as well.

I'm not sure if my mod will be 100% comparable though, because I made changes to the C# Assembly as well for things that would be too annoying to change in CORE
Yeah, that's why I'm hoping Aris/Adrian can help us take WoL/SoL modding another couple steps forward. They seem to have gotten around the Assembly-CSharp and core limitations that we have :lunar2020thinkingtiger:
No problem at all, glad you liked it and I'll be joining the server soon
