jumping?

i have some questions about jumping. is there any part of the game that uses it and does it affect your speed if you spam it?

Jumping in WoL moves you at normal speed; this overrides the reduced speed of sneaking in certain situations (I can think of two at the moment), and allows you to move much quicker than you otherwise would in that scenario
