cow puncher - muscle and melee damage clothing
snake oiler - moxie and pistol attack damage clothing
beanslinger - mysticality and spell damage clothing
reading nex mex books downgrades some of your stats, except the first one.
make sure to turn on auto xp spending if you turned it off, unless you want to upgrade a skill
try to get the best weapon. i go for weapons with +muscle cuz i like to do a lot of damage. (my class is the cow puncher)
try to upgrade your weapon at the silver plater and sharpen it at grady's fine leather goods in dirtwater (needs a quest)
make sure to downgrade your enemy's stats if they're stronger than you! wear clothing that gives more maximum attack points so you can do more stuff in battle. (boots usually do the trick). try and apply snakeskin to your hat
for peaceful l need more moxie cant level up since l keep losing
l'll take the non combat way and just finish it
Honestly there seems to be a peaceful, or mostly peaceful, option for just about everything.
