I'm not sure if you're legit saying people are having a hard time playing this? I only use the mouse 98% of the time or the random times I need to type a word. This is one of the easiest games I've ever played and I have no feeling in one hand from a stroke.
Check my review- one of my friends can't play this because of the lack of key binding. (Filter by negative review).
Your review still doesnt explain how this can be. I mean if you have a mouse specially designed for people with disabilities then they can play this game, since you can do the whole game using only a mouse.
Im not sure you can play this game without a mouse anyway so the opposite isnt true, however you are complaining about keybinds here.
If someone tells you they can't play a game because of a disability and they need key binding support you don't go prying and ask them to explain the ins and outs of their condition. It's not a doctor's examination for insurance purposes.
Like I said, adding key binding support to a Unity game is a ten minute job. They should do it.
Oh so I suppose people who can't walk should drag themselves everywhere instead of getting a wheelchair? SMH.
You don't even need a special mouse, just a mouse. The game doesn't require ANY button presses other than left click. They have other commands as options, but none of them(except the 100% useless jump) can't be done on a single mouse using left click.
So unless they literally have no use of their arms, and have to play with their face, their is no excuse here. Hell, even then you could still reasonably do it. It's 1 button for an entire game. Just hold the mouse in your mouth and tilt your face down to left click with your nose.
Oh please... Dont be such an SJW, it wont do you any good. As it turns out you DO have to explain why things need fixing if you want them to get fixed.
Because as it turns out I know some people with pretty severe disabilities that you wouldnt think would be able to play any game what so ever. However if it can be played with a mouse and isnt real time then they can. So I dont see how you need keybinds to play the game at all. Like I said earlier you would only need a mouse. Your situation seems to me like crying over how the stairs arent made for your specific disability when there is an elevator. Unless you explain why the elevator isnt any good nobody will take you seriously in fixing the stairs the way you want them.
Number 1. This is a post about colorblind mode, not your opinions on Keybinding whhich is dumb since you can just use a mouse for the ENTIRE GAME, (like me) even typing ever heard of an on screen keyboard?
Number 2.
Our very first patch (v1.01)
Aug 13
Corrected 11 typos (they were not funny)
An errant mention of “Christmas” is now the proper “Crimbo”
A save-file backup system (every 30 minutes) is now in place in case of save-file corruption.
A rudimentary set of alternative keyboard layouts is now supported, accessible from the main menu. Custom arbitrary keybinding is in the works for a subsequent patch. (Thanks for your patience!) <--------
