How do I leather craft

So I'm currently trying to kill the cow sadist but I need to get a infernal mallet. I don't want to have to get cowruppted in order to get it and somehow Susie can leather craft?can someone tell me how I can get her to craft with leather?(ps I'm a snake oiler)

But on the wiki it said it can be obtained through leather crafting. and when i looked at Susies page it said she could be used to get it without becoming cowruppted

That's an entirely different thing, there's a side quest where you can avoid having to make the mallet by doing a quest through her. You can also find a mallet around hellstrom ranch randomly.

this info is pretty wrong

you can get the infernal mallet by getting a random encounter while cowrupted. OR if you are a cow puncher you can craft the infernal mallet at the hellstrom ranch crafting table out of infernal leather, but it requires level 3 in that skill.

in my cow puncher play-thru i have infernal crafting but the mallet does not show up as an option, even at hellstrom ranch.
