Roads & Rivers
If a city is connected to my Capital by river is there any advantage to also building a road?

Roads remove negative movement modifiers for terrain. Go raiders!

and with road you can make path straight forward, instead of winding river, so you can optimize more. I think, but im not sure, that siege machine need roads to move faster (rivers dont work with it)
