Resolution problems with new game ui
everything farther to the left than the "Academic" background is completely cut off, regardless of ui size settings and game resolution used; is there a fix for this? I've been having this problem since I first got the game, before the Albion update

it is also possible that this is more an issue with my moniter than the game itself, as only about 70-90% of games know what on earth do do with my moniter when it comes to resolution, but if there's some way to fix that at least with Sunless Skies, I'd be very greatful if someone could pass that info along to me

Hi there,

If you're using the default UI and Font scale on a 1920 x 1080 monitor then the text will show correctly. On other resolutions with varying UI and Font scale you start to see the text get cut off. We will however be completely redesigning the UI and addressing any resolution and scaling issues along with it in our December update.

I am using the December update, with a 1920x1200 resolution monitor, and the bottom part of the screen is cut off. Where is says Hide/Show and Interface Selection at the bottom, those words are cut in half, with half visible on screen, and the bottom half cut off.

The highest resolution I could select was 1920x1080 in the game, and I have full screen selected. Still cut off text. Please support 1920x1200 resolution. Otherwise, please tell me how I can fix my screen so I can see everything.

Hi there,

We've made the decision to only support 16:9 aspect ratios, however we've introduced letterboxing to support non 16:9 monitors and this will be availabe in the launch build on Thursday.

If you experience any issues after that build goes live, please contact us on skies@failbettergames.com with some screenshots and details of the resolution you're using.

Cheers.
