you can also use cheat engine and iirc there were some mods for extra content on sunless sea but it was all fanmade since the "nomodsupportthing" and it's sadly going to be this way for this game as well
The editing is REALLY easy to do, it just takes some patience to learn what number string to look for and from there you change every aspect of the game's combat and status up to the stories. The narrative stories are the ONLY thing you cant really "alter" but you can force them to occur or occur with greater ease if you figure out the number string for it.
I hope they never change this open style if they wont put mod support in.
That really blows. Captain simulators are my jam and Sunless Skies just doesn't have the depth to become a cult classic and hold a player base into the future; modding could have solved that. I guess I'll never get to buy and decorate my own apartment in Eagle's Empyrean ;~;
im going to look into the save editing again, it just broke my saves when i tried yesterday. and cheat engine, i have no idea ! :-)
