(Spoilers) Possible alternate ending for Captain Whitlocks box?

So I've managed to discover the captain's secret passenger inside the black box that she stole from the blue kingdom. I delivered them to London as she wished. But I've heard that you can also deliver them back to the blue kingdom. However when I was asking them questions, they did say they want to go to London. Does anything interesting happen if you take them to the blue kingdom instead?

Yes, you get a different ending. The reward is way better. But I'd say London ending is more interesting.

I was a good boy and delivered the package without opening it, and it was somewhat disappointing.

I feel bad because I actually did as she said and just brought the box to London without opening it. No special story and I think very little-no reward. My loss though.

I wouldn't mind spoilers for this. I found out what(whom) was inside it but delivering it to London felt quite anticlimactic and it's not a quest I can repeat. (spoilers) What happened was that the thing inside turned out to be Jacob, Whitlock's deceased brother that she whisked out of the blue kingdom. I wonder why she was so adamant in getting him out at the risk of losing everything though. Does something horrible happen to the spirits in the blue kingdom?

If you go to deaths door and dig.... you can go deeper inside, at the end if you choose to stare into deaths door you can see spirits getting killed by angels or some such as that which to me doesn’t seem like a good ending to thoses souls

What you see is terrible yet difficult to comprehend. It seems souls are consumed bu Judgement, probably recycled ? But at what cost or effect, no one knows.

the souls are food.

the devils job used to be to make them as tasty and 'nutritous(whatever the equivelant here is) as possible, its touched briefly in the repentant devil's storyline.

you also see it with the names of some of the devil saints and such in brazen brigade, they have titles like the sommelier(the person responsible for the drinks)
