Calendar Council: Quest line or dead end?

I recently went through the trouble of cozying up to the Calendar Council in Eleutheria only for it to lead me to a dead end. I'm playing a revolutionary-smuggler-type and I was a little disappointed in the lack of quests for the council once you actually gain their trust. I was hoping that I'd have more of an ability to affect the balance of power in Eleutheria / Pan re: the revolutionaries like I could in the Reach. I was really hoping for SOMETHING especially given that they permanently reduced some of my veils as a price.

Am I missing something or is the Calendar Council kinda incomplete in Sunless Skies? Is there a more in depth quest line or something for the Heart-Catcher or whoever? And are they planning on adding anything for the Calendars or is this just kinda it? Would like to know where there's more in depth story for future playthroughs. thanky.
