Help Im stuck

So I started to play the trial challenge mode and when i got bored from it and wanted to return to my game...its stuck, I appear on top of a chocobo and the area is bugged, like its all black and the walls are far away when i try to leave the chocobo it says i cant and if the time runs out, well i stay on top of the chocobo.
I have another saved file, but i was finishing stuff and I would miss a couple hours :( which makes me sad, so I hope anyone knows how to fix this.

That seems like a fairly bizarre bug, possibly caused by some kind of weird interaction between Trial Mode and a save being on a chocobo. I've never heard of it before, but that doesn't have to mean much.

It could also be related to some kind of file error, so just to be sure run a game file integrity check in Steam. But I wouldn't count on that.

Sadly, chances are that your only recourse is going to be going to an earlier save here.
