Warning about the nintendo switch version
NG- isn't available at the start like the PC version. I was told the switch version had everything, including the NG- mode. The only reason i even bought the game on the switch was for that mode, and now I have to, what, beat the whole game to completion, get to level 99, and brute force my way to level 100 in the trial mode to get to the game mode I actually CARE about? The only reason I even re-bought the game was for NG- mode to make the game fun, and I can't even refund. Don't make the same mistake I did, don't get the switch version. I don't even know where to rant about this I'm so mad.

NO - get the switch Version - if you want to play portable and either do not care about NG- or do not mind only having it after a first playthrough.

Well - that really sucks for you, i don't own a switch and will not get one either, but that certainly is a dumb move to exclude that option. If it was an entirely new game then ok, maybe, but even then i think it is a bad idea. But this game is ooooolllld, many of those that buy it have already played one of the version on the PS2 a long time ago. And you should not be forced to finish it before getting the other modes unlocked.

I looked up how to unlock NG- the normal way. You literally have to kill ♥♥♥♥ like Zodiark, that Yizmat hunt that takes 5 hours, 3 level 99 chocobos, and ♥♥♥♥ like every judge at the same time. It even says on the wiki it was "designed to be the most challenging thing in the game". Like, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I only care about playing on the comfy NG- mode. Thats why i got the game. 30$ down the toilet unless I get a hacked save or something. Screw Nintendo.

Yiazmat has reduced HP in Trial Mode, 10% of his original HP (5 million), also trial mode isn't that hard, you just need to be careful in 90 - 100 stage, my party was around level 77 when i completed it, here is a hot tip !

Use Wither in Zodiark, Omega Mark and Yiazmat, they will end up hitting you with only 200 damage, just before defeating Omega, summon Zeromus, cast bubble on him, when you reach stage 100, equip nihopalaoa and tosses an Elixir on him and cast Big Bang, it will instantly kill 3 of the 5 judges, making the fight a joke.

Thanks for the tips. After sleeping and going to work I've really calmed down. Honestly, the game lets you re-spec your lisences so that along is a massive plus. One thing I didn't like was researching which esper to give to who to unlock the "best" tiles. Guna play me some portable FFXII baybeee

The only mention of the PC-specific changes to New Game Plus/Minus that I found were the PC version press releases when it launched and a small blurb at the top of the FF12 PC Gaming Wiki page for the game[www.pcgamingwiki.com].
