How to load mods to FFXII

as the title says i am having trouble using Vortex from Nexus Mod Manager to load mods to FFXII TZA. whenever i launch FFXII from Vortex the game graphics pause about 30 seconds to 1 minute into the game usually in the inital menu. i am trying to upload a license board mod to use the original PS2 Board. not a huge fan of the job system in the remake. i have modded games before and usually they were plug and play like skyrim SE or RimWorld.

Apparently there's issues with lauching the game from Vortex. Just install the mod and launch it 'normally' (through Steam or just using the EXE file)

but it should still have the mod installed?

Some mods have not been updated to use Vortex yet, for those you have to use Draklab.

Right sorry, especially since it might even be my own mod the OP is using I should have caught this.
Download Draklab -- it works perfectly fine, it's just not 'universal' like Vortex is
