i knw this is the reason why ashe could see him, but why vaan specifically?
it's not really explained even in ff12: rev wings. Oh well... the canceled novel couldv had the answer.
ps: why squenix is obsessed making huge saga across multiple games and novels? ffx-2.5, ff12, ff13, ff15 was a mess because they keep using this format
Eventually Vaan gets over Reks' death, which explains why he eventually stopped being able to see the apparition.
Rasler is not his brother. Vaan has no connection with him
Earlier in the game, Vaan tells Ashe that he saw Reks.
Then at the Cryst, everyone, including Vaan, sees Rasler.
