PS3 controller

I was using it without problem even seeing the xbox buttons. But now I have to fishing and I have to press the triggers. I cant handle with the Xbox triggers, I really cant xD

My question is if there is any fix to see the PS buttons with a PS3 controller.

PS: I conected my ps4 controller and still the problem; I keep seeing the Xbox buttons. Anyway I want to use the PS3 controller. I dont want to change every time that I want to play in the console.

Yes, there is. Assuming you are not using any third part software for your drivers, open up Steam Big Picture Mode and click the Cog Wheel (settings) and then go to controller. If you see a check mark on PS4 Support, uncheck it and then exit out and test your game.

If it still doesn't work, go to your Device Manager and uninstall the driver connected to your PS3/4 controller (UNPLUG IT FIRST) and then plug it back in, let it install and then redo the Steam steps above.

I instaled SCP driver and it seems to detect the PS3 controller like a Xbox controller.

I believe this is related to how SCP handles the PS3 controller, as that doesn't have native driver support for Windows and sort of tricks it into thinking it's an Xbox controller (which does). Probably not a lot you can do about that without some massive work.

We are in 2k18 maybe there is a better drivers for it? I dont know. I dont think that unistalling and install again will work. It took me many time, I am not sure about do it xD
