Have you used the AMD controll thingy to set it to use the dedicated (joke of a)GPU for the game? Are you sure it is using the iGPU and not jsut your settings being to high?
Haha! That's right.
The AMD software installed here does not make clear which video card is prefered in each case; with the intel iGPU is the same. Some games use the AMD card, other's don't. Normally I check which one is in use at ctrl+shift+esc, the task manager.
FF XII uses the iGPU, as indicated both by the task manager (where the AMD card shows as inactive) and by the selected video card at the graphics options displayed at "new game", one that doesn't allow for any change whatsoever.
Sorry if I misunderstood you: when you said "the dedicated (joke of a) GPU", was it referring the AMD one? Is it that bad?
