No save data

Hello all. So I was playing the zodiac age last night with no issues. Then today I've loaded up the game and the settings have reset to default (B to select instead of A on xbox controller) and when choosing load game it says no save data. I have checked the documents folder and the files for the saves are still there but the game cant find them. Anybody know how to fix this? I'm about 7 hours in and dont really want to restart.

Same here, I'm pissed. I was at Nan-Yensa Sandsea and my save is completely gone.

Try disabling Steam cloud, and see if that helps. If it doesn't, try temporarily removing (i.e. move it elsewhere) GameSetting.ini in the save folder, and let the game recreate the file. If neither of those work, try creating a new Windows user account, and copy the FFXII save folder inside the Documents folder to your other user, and try running Steam and the game with the other user account.

Sounds like Windows' problem of blocking your game from using the save folder.
