Final Fantasy XII All-in-One Editor (Beta) Released!
Good morning everyone! I was talking to Raiden, the author of the editor this morning about potentially releasing a beta version of the editor, and he decided to release the All-in-One Editor he's been working on for public testing.

If you decide to use it, please post feedback in this thread so I can pass it on to Raiden. Any feedback is welcome!

It can be downloaded here:

*Link removed per author's request- a new editor will be out soon!*

(Remove the space)

There are many, many things the editor can do, but these are the big things:

-Edit enemy stats, EXP, LP, Steals/Drops/etc. Note that status immunities and enemy levels can't be edited yet.
-Edit basic enemy AI, such as what skills they can use.
-Edit equipment stats.
-Edit abilities.
-Edit shop contents.
-Edit Bazaar recipes.
-Edit sidequest rewards.
-Edit character stats, initial Licenses, etc.
-Edit LP costs.
-Edit treasures, including their contents and spawn rates.
-Edit text, such as equipment/ability names, character names, etc.
-Edit what 3D model is used for each character/monster.

Again, it has many other functions, but these are the biggest ones. Enjoy!

Is this an easier method to reset jobs than the Cheat Engine way? Can't imagine it isn't lol

There is an easier way now, thanks to FFGriever. This mod gives you the option to reset licenses through Montblanc at the clan hall, among other things.

Got the number wrong so I fixed it for you. Easy mistake since almost every mod does cool stuff.

pretty suits you fancy not. both mods can reset jobs.

True, but Facing Fate completely changes the core game. To just have the option to reset the license boards/jobs without changing anything else, the Generous Montblanc mod is the best option.

Really liking this toolset - One question about usage (v1.0.23.8):

I'm trying to add new attributes to the battle_pack.bin file and the last step on the readme calls for an update to the "FileSizeTable(language).fst" file. I'm not seeing this file referenced anywhere else in the readme and unless I missed it, I'm not seeing anything on-point in the vbf browser either. Where is this file supposed to be located?

Ah, back in the actual game directory. Haven't needed anything else from there in a while. No wonder I missed it.

Thanks!

Where does it say anywhere FF 3.4.2 completely changes the core game? Complete changes as in: entailing an entire New Game from start to finish without any of the same locations from the original? Because it doesn't. Do you know all the versions of FF; no not including the beta release 3.4 and below, that (the main of FF does change game play aspects, yes). Nay I should say, the DLC content? That could explain part of it.

Just so this[i.postimg.cc] highlighted section is clear, that is going to be a thing, coming 3.4.2 next week. It was there already even in the previous releases via the Nexus. Until then, the originals are still there.

So yes, this still suffices; it's on vanilla—your term: 'to the point/no other changes.' FF is versatile, especially on DLC. DLCs are separate and this is par vanilla, for that above reason there, NG+ and Job reset.

The very description of FF states that there are "quite a lot" of changes. There are various dialog changes, and the names, descriptions, etc. of characters are changed. The download for it is a full gigabyte, compared to ~300KB for the Generous Montblanc mod. The creator of FF gave it its own separate backstory that ties in with mods from other FF games.

Quite a lot of changes doesn't entail a whole new game from start to end. dlc4 is the vanilla game with those HD models—as in, the original game, no modification to anything gameplay/dialog with the outfit skins. The version on nexus is still 3.4.1 beta.

Maybe I'm misreading something on Nexus then. So if I follow the directions to install it on Nexus, there won't be any changes to the vanilla story/gameplay/menus/characters/hunts/etc except better quality models and the Montblanc options to reset the license boards and NG+?

According to the description, there are a lot of changes even in that version, starting with 3.0:

Heavy game play changes have taken effect beginning version 3.0. One of the biggest is the license board. By default, every character is defaulted to their own abilities and equipment not changeable by the player. The only other jobs available to select from is the Impotent job which, as its name suggests, only offers Quickening and one Esper selection as par the main storyline. The character's designated job roles are listed below. Augments are tailored to that character's performance (not all characters get every augment). All augments, quickenings and Esper/Eidolon LP have been increased by ⅓. This brings a new challenge to the player as you can choose to play through the game with side quests and extra story side quests added with the addition of your usual augments, or without such augments.

The directions to install also don't appear to match up with the files on Nexus.
TO INSTALL:
Beginning version = 3.0 Build 4.1_4.56324
The game requires added assets to the .vbf.
To add assets to the .vbf, convey the following steps:

1. Take the folder "trif" and put it into your FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE\ steamapps directory.
2. Place the file "ff12-vbf.exe" into your FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE\ steamapps directory
3. Type in File/Windows Explorer's URL window: "CMD"
4. Execute the following command:
"ff12-vbf -a trif FFXII_TZA.vbf"
5. Proceed to install the rest of the mod with Draklab.
6. Replace FileSizeTable_US.fst in FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE\FileSizeTables directory

There doesn't seem to be a "trif" folder anywhere in the downloaded files, nor is there a ff12-vbf.exe file. Two of the zip files are also password protected, and the readme files that go along with them only offer a riddle in Japanese, and not the passwords themselves.

No no. dlc4 content is not yet released. dlc 4 release is version 3.4.2, as I mentioned before. On the Nexus its still 3.4.1 beta; no dlc4.

The reason for that delay is the same on Era Tools, crashing when zoning. Something in the material is wrong; I've narrowed it down to that. The special install instructions are marked for build 3.4.2 and up.

Version 3.0 - 3 - Build 4.2 - .4.2 = version: 3.4.2

To prevent confusion from dlc content from main download (more for this case for NG+ + Job rest no other alterations to the game),usually have it separate from the main game asdid with ff9 type-0, especially dlc4 which is vanilla game with HD models.
The first 3 dlcs are:
DLC1:
Veracity Kingsglaive Unveils[zodiac-trilogy.fandom.com] (This is part of the main download).
DLC2:
Outfit - Nyx - Standard Uniform (This is part of the main download).
Outfit - Crowe - Out-of-Uniform (This is part of the main download).
DLC3:
Outfit - Kevin - Crono reimagined (This is part of the main download).
Outfit - Rydia - Deity Summoner (This is part of the main download).

DLC4:
HD vanilla FFXII cast outfit. (HD // i.e the design is of the likeness to their CG counter parts). (This is not part of the main download; once released it be separate download with no modification to the game other than with Job reset and NG+). These were built for the Shades of Ivalice models, but since (in the main game) there's only 1 principal model of the main cast, they were left out, leaving them available for another use: DLC content, homage to the original game.

Those two archives are 1. Selective Jobs boards (full license boards // no default abilities) which are unlocked to the player after completing the game once! The other was the soundtrack, but is old and removed for future versions.

I guess I'm confused why you offered it as a solution for the question then? If it's not released, that would only lead to confusion if they tried using the previously released version.

Right. Don't listen to this guy. He's trying to plug his mod on these forums at every opportunity (and non-opportunity). Whatever is requested, he always links his own mod. What you say makes perfect sense. It makes no sense to download a quasi-total conversion mod just for one thing, and especially not one that makes the characters look like complete morons: https://imgur.com/a/zUCNN0D

Do you want your characters to look like that (with the original 3D models still, of course) and be renamed to something stupid like "Kevin?" Yeah, me neither. As you can see, he's trying to push this mod onto people at all costs. He has absolutely no integrity as he's even willing to lie to get someone to download this hot garbage.

-Majority of dialog have been alternated to fit the new scenario of the game; whilst some vanilla retained par their fit.
-Despite the large storyline; the game does not entail a new game entirely, however it does have some story related details linked to FF9 Type-0 that would be useful to know. You still will play through original game scenarios as usual but with added scenes to do on the side.
Yeah, totally doesn't change a lot, nope. Like I said, plugs his mod at any cost.

A lot of removed mods in this thread. Why? Also, where can I find the Memory Editor?

There was an update released by Square-Enix that effectively broke the memory editor; a majority of the memory addresses changed, so the editor stopped working.
