Final Fantasy XII All-in-One Editor (Beta) Released!
Good morning everyone! I was talking to Raiden, the author of the editor this morning about potentially releasing a beta version of the editor, and he decided to release the All-in-One Editor he's been working on for public testing.

If you decide to use it, please post feedback in this thread so I can pass it on to Raiden. Any feedback is welcome!

It can be downloaded here:

*Link removed per author's request- a new editor will be out soon!*

(Remove the space)

There are many, many things the editor can do, but these are the big things:

-Edit enemy stats, EXP, LP, Steals/Drops/etc. Note that status immunities and enemy levels can't be edited yet.
-Edit basic enemy AI, such as what skills they can use.
-Edit equipment stats.
-Edit abilities.
-Edit shop contents.
-Edit Bazaar recipes.
-Edit sidequest rewards.
-Edit character stats, initial Licenses, etc.
-Edit LP costs.
-Edit treasures, including their contents and spawn rates.
-Edit text, such as equipment/ability names, character names, etc.
-Edit what 3D model is used for each character/monster.

Again, it has many other functions, but these are the biggest ones. Enjoy!

Sure, but then what's the point? A 'true' PS2 experience wouldn't have the updated graphics or the speedup either. But at that point one might as well just play the PS2 version (easily doable on PC even)

Well, I'm pretty sure you're projecting subjective opinion as objective fact in the Mist Gauge thing. I, for one, prefer the original Mist Charge system, and it is one of the few changes that I'm not happy with. That said, it's not big enough for me to even bother modding for it (I say this as somebody who often does mod games, though I usually mod for increased variety, better balance, or more difficulty). I'd be more surprised by people not wanting the autosave system. I obsessively saved all the time on PS2, but now I have the luxury of only saving when I want to use a crystal.

Is there a way to enable the use of enemy spells like Aquaga and Pox using the editor?

You can't really specifically 'point' to those spells but you can easily, as noted above, replace a spall with the same data (formula, power, element, animation) that the ememy one uses. You can of course modify these in any way you want.
You don't even have to use Aqua for Aquaga or even a black magick spell -- you can for instance remove Renew and turn it into a black magic spell that has the Aquaga effect (this is a bit of a trick, you would need to change the 'type' to something associated with black magick -- doesn't matter which. And then change the icon and probably the gambits position as well if you want to make it really nice and neat).

Thanks for the info. I was able to alter some of the status spells to double as elemental spells, but I'm not entirely sure how to fully change the spells when it comes to their entries and placement in the menu. For example, I've edited Esunaga to become Aquaga, and I've switched to the Black Magic option under Miscellaneous>Magicks>Icon, but ingame it's still appearing under White Magicks as Esunaga despite now mimicking the Aquaga spell when used. I did try changing the name via the text editor but I keep getting an error when I try to repack the word.bin

The text editor is a bit tricky, basically you need to be sure that you're in the DIR of the file you want to repack -- NOT the file being repacked (i.e. if you're repacking word.bin make sure you're in word.bin's DIR).

Now, if you want to have what used to be Esunaga become black, as I said above you need to change its 'type' to something that black magick uses. The current type is "Add or Remove Status Effects" which is what puts it under white -- if you change it to, for instance "Elemental Magicks" that'll allow it to be a black spell. You also need to change the icon separately (it's in the 'miscellaneous section under Magicks....you can also change the sorting order there) and if you really want everything 'clean' you'll need to fix the gambit page order as well (really tedious and probably not worth it if it's for personal use).

Anyway if you need more help or just wanna chat about FF12 modding you can come join on at our Discord - https://discord.gg/kHkEgZE

Hi guys. I have a few questions about this AIO FF12 Editor:

1. Do I need to start a new game/save for Editor use?
2. If I change a Character's Stats (Ex: Vaan), do they reset on equip/unequip weapons, acessories, etc?

Thoughts and help greatly appreciated :)

Your saves are unreleated to editor use. Obviously any chanegs you make will be impacted in the saves but I've never come across a save I couldn't load after modding.

Anything you change in the battle pack won't be reset because that's what's read to get that info in the first place. So change stats all you want.

Could anyone reupload this tool? It's not available on Nexus anymore.

Editor here[cdn.discordapp.com].

Oh nevermind, the new links work. Thanks. That would be nice if the Editor could be posted on Nexus again. I don't know why the author decided to take it down.

If anyone wants the editor, PM me (though I'm very busy and it might be a day before I can get it to you).
