Thieves' Cuffs modify the Steal technick of the character that's wearing them, it has no effect on other characters in the party. If you want an improved Steal, you have to be wearing them on that character.

Note: for chests in towns where you have to control Vaan, iirc he obviously needs to equip the diamond Armlet, despite whoever your Party Leader is in combat zones.

In this version, Diamond Armlet is basically useless outside of specifically Cerobi Steppes; and the valuable loot there is such low chance you're better off not even trying. Unless you love zoning for literally a thousand times, I guess, in which case knock yourself out.

Some meteorites I suppose are mildly useful; mainly the Disease one. There's a spot or two where you can spam farm it if needed.

Yeah, I should have mentioned that too, heh. I know one in the original version had an Ensanguined Shield but don't recall whether it was with DA, not that it's relevant any more with the Zodiac version chest changes.
