Crap, I am lost

So I stopped playing this game for almost a year, now I came back I am totally lost.

I remember visiting Mt. Bur-Omasce and watch it get bombed, and I remember visiting the Empire's head quarter, but I can't tell what was I doing before I stopped (Apparently I must been farming some levels on the highland). Is there an quest log or a guide that tell me what was I suppose be doing last? =/

After Mt.Bur gets bomb you need to go to Nalbina Fortress.

They say they've already been to Archades ("the Empire's head quarter"), so my guess is the next step is to go to Giruvegan?

Opening your map should have a prompt at the bottom that tells you what the current main quest wants you to do. If it's Giruvegan (which is the next step after Archades), you can find that by going through the Feywood, which you can reach from either Paramina Rift or Golmore Jungle. Just look at where the blank spaces in your map are.

I think that might be it. I remember seeing a temple with a BS statue guy by the water that enrages and 1 shotted some party members, then Teleport me to a dark temple with a giant circle going lower and lower.

I might have gone to the high lands to farm for mats and level after that.
