Can't access Zodiark

So I have every esper apart from zodiark (including ultima), but when I talk to the geomancer to unlock henne mines he doesn't do anything, just says "The earth, it moves..." nothing to do with unlocking it.

Have you done the hunts in Henne Mines? You need 10 Espers + the hunts, iirc.

I have not I don't think, everything I found online just said 10 espers so i didnt bother, I'll try that then.

That's it, when you have at least 10 espers and want to defeat Zodiark you gotta talk to the Geomancer and then the gate will be open. Just walk into the 'second half' of Henne Mines (where the monsters are strong) and find the gate that leads to Zodiark - It'll be open after talking to Geo. Plus, once you've reached the 'second half' (which you have to do a hunt) any other hunt will not be needed to be done.

Except thats not it, the gates not open to the deeper part of the mines and he's not send anyone to open the gate.

Oh! Remember that there are TWO gates which lead to Zodiark. The first in the 'First Half' (which you unlock after defeating Zodiark) and the other which you must find in the 'Second Half'.

I did not receive any notifications about this post from steam, so, sorry for my lateness. Well done, you finally did it! As I said in the first comment, you have to do a hunt to get to the 'Second Half', but I had forgotten which was. Congratulations!

I am really struggling with this... The geomancer is still saying that I am not strong enough. I have all of the other 12 Espers and have completed all of the hunts. The next part of my story is going to the Pharos... I've been holding off on proceeding, so I could side-quest with Reddas in my party.
Please help! 🙏🏻

Double-check that you've really completed the hunts, turned them in to the quest giver and everything.

I have double checked all of them. Particularly all of the ones from Jahara, including the Mine Flayer...
