wyvern fang removed from Aeros?

Wiki says it should be a somewhat common drop, but I've been chain farming Aeros without seeing a single one.
(this is not about the wyvern wing, already stole about 10 of those)

Anyone else have the same issue? Wiki not updated for zodiac age? Anywhere else I can nab some wyvern fangs before Mt.Br-Omisace?

Wiki has a seperate section for Zodiac Age stats on each page, make sure you are checking the right section.

It definitely still drops from Aeros, but the drop % on the wiki may be wrong. I believe it's a rare drop, not a common one.

Aeros does still have it, but it seemed to only drop at max chain level.
So most likely a super rare drop.

There is no "only drops at X chain level". Any item can drop at any chain level, items are just more likely to drop at higher levels, and you're more likely to get multiple drops at higher chain levels.

Yeah, thats why I said most likely. Just updating the thread in case it shows up in somebodies search in the future.

On that note: you can chain Aeros by leaving the zone before his exp shows up just like Dustia farming.

Usually, the rarest (non-monograph) drop is 1% at no-chain, 5% at max chain, so yeah, it can definitely feel like these drops don't exist.
