NG- Guest Characters

My party members are wasting a ton of phoenix downs on reddas who dies in one hit constantly. Is there any way to make him... ♥♥♥♥ off? Or at least be less of a drain on my gil.

No way to remove guests, unfortunately. Only solution I can think of is to set up name-specific gambits but that'll waste a ton of slots.

Well OP's doing NG- and the guest levels depend on your own. However they scale a lot more off level than you do, which is why Reddas keeps dying at low level.

Do you consider level 1 to be underleveled?

I'm playing NG- and as a result reddas as a whopping 300 hp and commits suicide in battle like its his job.

can you use warp on him? you cant use warp motes but i think warp magic lets you switch to party members. but in zodiac version, its not as easy to get unlike the original.

I think my plan of action is going to be to just rush through the pharos section of the game as fast as possible. I did a few hunts (Carrot, Overlord, Gilgamesh) with him, and he literally made them harder. i think im better off just getting rid of him as soon as possible

well thats some of the harder stuff done anyway. you could probably immobolize him and leave him at the start of an area lol, but i guess that wouldn't help for the espers where you enter right next to the boss.

blasting through pharos is probably is easier than coping with a level 1 guest anyway.

Yeah update, i got rid of him. now i don't have to buy 99 phoenix downs every hour on the hour. Its glorious.

Spoilers, in the story its because hes dead now but like he kiiiiinda deserves it for wasting all of my gil. jussayin.

i always liked reddas' story and he's actually my favourite character, its a shame the guest mechanic doesnt let you do more with them, at least you can edit their gambits now but i kinda miss them using an infinite supply of their own items.
