How to stop gambits from casting Vox on characters with intentional Silence?
Hello guys,

So I'm still quite early in the game and have decided to equip Manufacted Nethicite on Basch who is a Monk.

I figured why not as I don't have any spells on him and I got nothing better yet(I think). The issue with this is that he is now Silenced while my Guest and Gambits are constantly casting Vox on him(if ally = Silence, cast Vox) which is wasting their MP.

I don't want to disable this Gambit as I still want Vox to be casted on my other Silenced characters.

Is there another Gambit I should be using to avoid this?

Thanks in advance.

You turn vox off or set up 2 gambits for the members of the party w/o silence. Like Ally: Vaan or Ally Ashe, on a side note chars that are silenced by items can't use quickenings, the Dawn Shard I know prevents you from using them.

Yeah, youll have to set up gambits to specifically target your other party members. Thats a flaw with the gambits, they dont know what immunity is. Perma berserk can get dispel spammed at it, allies that help with hunts get bubble spammed at them. Magic gambits that target anything generally, get spammed even if the target is immune

Thanks guys.

I have tried the suggestion though I guess it's not viable as I need to setup multiple Gambits and I don't want to waste Gambits for this purpose. I've just decided to un-equip the accessory in the end.

Here is another way you could do it. If Basch is going to be in your party with it on for a while setup these gambits :

On Ally A
Ally B - Vox / echo herbs

On Ally B
Ally A - Vox /echo herbs

Basically, set it up so each party member is responsible for removing Silence from a different one besides Basch.

Also you don't need Ally:Status = XXX -> status cure to cure a status. Can just do Ally Any -> Status Cure, and it will use the cure only when needed. Like Ally Any : Remedy/Esuna is awesome this way unless using something like the nethicite.

Pretty sure that the Ally Status = XXX ones are more for using attack's to cure confuse/sleep, or doing buffs in odd ways or more accuratly avoiding the curing of desired effects like blindness on someone that uses sight unseeing a lot.
