Also, if you kill 255 enemies in battle with it, the weapon upgrades to the Excalibur 2. It's the strongest weapon in the game alongside the Seitengrate Bow. It doesn't have a license, so anyone can use it.

While Excalipur is definitely somewhat of a joke (the license cost especially), it's not ENTIRELY useless as you sometimes want a weak weapon to push enemies into HP critical so you can use Poach.

But that's about it. They really went ham on the memes.

There is precedence for this, like in FF VI, you fight 255 battles with a cursed shield equipped that gives a bunch of debuffs, and it turns into the best shield in the game.

You have to get the final blow with an actual weapon attack for it to count as a kill.

The Excalibur 2 is pretty insane, with berserk + brave + level 99 Basch, the weapon can easily hit for 999k damage vs holy-weak targets.

It has an attack value of 255 just like the Seitengrate Bow. Which can do around 250k+ with auto attacks on a buffed character. Because the Excalibur 2 is holy element, it hits for around x4 damage vs holy weak targets, or around 1m damage. Holy is better than physical. 99% of the enemies in the game are either neutral or weak vs holy.

I don't care, miss out on the best weapon in the game because you're too lazy to invest a little time and effort. I'm sharing this for those who are actually interested.

Yeah it's just the excalibur with an extra 150+ attack stat.
