Game entered unplayable state (cant open party menu)

Hey for some reason one day when I booted up the game and ever since then it is now impossible for me to open the party menu/quit the game with Y on my game pad and the assigned key on my keyboard, because of this I considere the game to be unplayable at this point. :(

Do you have any other controller devices pluged in?

just keyboard mouse and a Thrustmaster USB controller, the controller is what I use primarily and has worked fine for the first 20 hours then this happened

delete the configuration file and try again. Something screwed it up would be my guess.

Its the ini file in Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE

Did deleting the file help you play it again?
I been having that problem too when playing and sometimes i have to unplug my xbox controller and replug it to keep playing.
Even doing this, after a few minutes of playing, it goes back to the state that I can't even press A/X/Y buttons (they dont respond), but if I press Start, it goes to the pause screen and only responds to the B button....

Also, noticed that when this happens, the keyboard keys also dont work (the ones corresponding to the buttons that don't respond)

Same here, A/X/Y buttons not responding at all - as well as the map button.

Game is just unplayable - any fix for this issue?
