that black bar at the bottom during cutscenses really stands out any way to make it smaller?

Yeah... it's pretty discerning.
That's where the text goes for sub, but... I have to wonder why they did it in such an odd manner (black bar at the bottom only, not at the top).

It feels like I have my monitor adjusted wrong or something.

Yea same here i've tried to change my resolution seems like the biggest resolution makes it look better but it still sticks out.

Use my mod located here[www.nexusmods.com] called 'Cutscenes Unleashed' under the 'Files' tab. Should have clear instructions on how to install (you'll need the DrakLab Mod Loader utility).

the draklab mod cant run,
it only show about less than 1 second, then disappear.

DrakLab Mod Loader is perfectly functional. Follow the instructions in the linked article[www.nexusmods.com]. The article link is also in the mod archive that you downloaded within a readme file that you ignored and didn't bother to read.

Hello, I'm the mod creator. I have a 1680 x 1050 (16:10 1050p) monitor and the mod was tested in 1920 x 1080 (16:9 1080p) as well. I'm not certain what changes would need to be done to make it work with 1440p but if you are willing to get in touch with me via Discord (my Discord contact info is in my Steam Profile) and do some testing then we can try and figure it out together.

I'd like a screenshot (please host on imgur.com) so that I can see how the current mod looks with 1440p resolution. Thanks!

As far as 'tweaking' things yourself:

If you read the readme that comes with the mod then you will see that it explains what values were changed and what they do. It is a simple text file that is edited. If you like, you are welcome to do some testing to tweak things on your own until it looks satisfactory to you. I can release an updated version for those in 1440p resolutions and I'll credit your contribution as well.

Thanks for the reply. I applied your mod as-is, before attempting any changes, and I'm pleased to report that it seems to just work at 1440p already. I've included a couple comparisons.
