This, a a HD remaster is really not an option for a PS1 game in this day and age and technically impossible anyway unless they just run it through an emulator.
*VII remake is my last hope, to smooth out earlier catastrophes. (in relation to godlike status Δ once held)

Of course, a remake by Blue Point Games could be awesome but...
Stop asking for Square Enix to do anything, you'll just get a crappy mobile port. Zodiac Age is the exception, not the rule where they are concerned.
I swear PSX games have some jittery effect where the vertices seem to snap to a screen-grid (anyone knows what I am saying?), so if they just got rif of that, like it happened in FF9, I'd be cool.
