If I configure the DS4 in Steam Big Picture, vibration will work but then the controller is converted to Xinput, so the buttons are also changed to Xbox buttons.
It's really stupid that there's not just an option in-game to select which buttons you want, as Final Fantasy XIV has this option. There's no reason FFXII should not also have it.
If someone could make a mod for this, I would really appreciate your favour.
Dinput does have a way to implement force feedback. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/bb153254(v=vs.85).aspx but it is not as easy to implement in gamepads because the gamepad explicity requires support for Dinput force feedback and not just native.
