what kind of armor should i use? heavy of mystic? im more incline to use heavy, what you guys think

Depends on what you're doing. If you're the tank, use heavy armor. If you're using katanas for DPS, mystic armor may increase your MAG stat and boost their damage. And then there's a lot of armor with special effects, too.

Katana damage benefits more from Strength than Magic so heavy armor is still going to be favored if you're just going for DPS.

If you intend to do some mid-game backup healing however or are already capped at 99 strength, then there's no harm in swapping out for mystic armor. And, of course, if you're planning to take advantage of Excalibur's holy damage, boosting that with a White Robe is a no-brainer.
