Classic License Board Unlocked.
Just putting that out there for those who haven't been following this thread.
All credit goes to ejh1990.

Currently it's only accessable through his hacked save, and there are caveats such as no IZJS/ZA gear licenses, and game crashes if you bring up the Zodiac Job menu before opening the License Board for the first time (there's no reason to use that menu with this anyhow). Other than that it seems to be working well enough.

SE may decide to dummy it out at some point but I doubt they'll do it. Regardless, I'm not treating it as my primary game. Use at your own risk.

With regards to the patching (and the fact that this board remains in the code) I think it was actually intentional: from what I gather based on how the boards function it was left in as a bodge to enable the characters to use their default weapons even if the class they choose isn't otherwise compatible. The reason for this is that licences work on a licence-by-licence basis rather than being dependent on the chosen job. For example, if a character's job is KNI-WHM and, through third-party software, this is switched to KNI-UHL, the character will retain the ability to cast ALL of the white magic spells unlocked on the WHM board.

So in short, I think the chance of this being patched is low. (Famous last words, I know).
