Lore-wise jobs suggestion

These are my lore jobs for FFXII, based on how they begin and evolve through this game including its sequel.

Vaan: Shikari / Foebreaker. Starts as a Thief and wants to become a sky pirate. Also, i love this combo :P

Penelo: Monk / White mage. According to wiki, her older brother taught her some martial arts (Also, she wants to be a dancer... Poles???) + White mage in Revenant Wings.

Balthier: Machinist / Uhlan. Absolutely no doubt about this one. Want to avoid spoilers explaining it.

Fran: Archer / Red mage. Initial weapon + Red mage in Revenant Wings.

Ashe: Knight / Time battlemage. Wielding "Knight-like" lore weapons and Time job in Revenant Wings.

Basch: Knight / Bushi. The most difficult one to decide. Of course he is a Knight at start, also he uses a bow in the introduction (Archer as secondary one???) but... after the events at the begining of the game, we could say all that he wants is to protect someone, which fits with the description of Bushi. Besides, this job combo is incredibly powerful (Ultimate Paladin light warrior, combining White Robes + Excalibur)

Please feel free to discuss my jobs and suggest another Lore-wise combos!

I think that is the most apropiate lorefriendly party.

I do things diferently at a few character tho, a bit for performance and a hit for wanting to use all 12 jobs.

Vaan: SHI/FOE
Penelo: MNK/BLM
Balthier: UHL/MCH
Fran: ACH/RBM
Basch: BSH/KNT
Ashe: WHM/TBM

All of them have at least 1 lorefriendly job, all jobs used, not cookie cutter performance, but still has the powerhouses needes for of this game content.

I'm doing the same, except Penelo is BLM/MNK, Fran is RBM/ARCH, Basch will be KNT/BSH, and Ashe will be TBM/WHM. Otherwise, exact same party.

This is my first time playing FFXII, and I've wanted to play it since it was announced for PS2. I'm only in the dungeons after partying up with Balthier and Fran, and am really enjoying it so far.
