When does Larsa join as a permanent party member?

I was told that other than the new job system, the zodiak version of the game also has Larsa as a permanent party member?

So I've been trying to plan my party's job's around this since Larsa is a fav from this game, but I don't want to sit waiting for him if he doesn't join till later in the game (or not at all)

He is only joinable as a Guess for the first time in bhujerba as Lamont and you can only have him there but you can use him in Trial Mode. The Second time you get him you can pretty much take him anywhere until you reach mt bur-Omisasce.

I got excited since he was going to be playable in FFBE... but he's a 3* witha 5* max :( *sobs*
