It's not upon level up, it just allows you to edit your max HP&MP for main characters only. But it's essentially the same thing anyway.

I'm assuming you don't know how to use Cheat Engine, so to keep it simple...
1) Download Cheat Engine (google it) and cheat table from OP, then install Cheat Engine
2) Double click the cheat table, it will open Cheat Engine and the table loads in automatically
3) Run FF12
4) In Cheat Engine go to File > Open Process and select FF12 process from the list
5) In FF12 load a save, level up to your desired level, alt-tab to Cheat Engine
6) Check both HP and MP rows for character(s) you leveled up and input desired HP&MP in the value column (BUT WITHOUT MULTIPLIER APPLIED)
7) Alt-tab back to FF12, change equipment or touch a save crystal and the HP&MP values will update in game
8) Go back to Cheat Engine and uncheck the rows

Now, what's up with that multiplier thingy in step 6. For that, refer to this document, it's already calculated for you: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oo-2gveL3V0X4r--syFQDTH87kxIsQtpjyb91PfsbpQ/

Basically, you input values from the left table into Cheat Engine and values on the right are perfect HP&MP you should see in game upon touching save crystal.

Tnx for the answer, so the table is more like a template for a future mod. I'll asume in the near future might see the max hp/MP upon lvl up mod. Guess I'll wait for that for the time being
Well, it's not really a mod, but there's now alternative to Cheat Engine in a form of, let's call it "pure RNG manipulation" https://www.reddit.com/r/FinalFantasyXII/comments/806nmo/rng_helper_app_for_pc_version/

quite the hassle again, I decided just to ignore the fact that the stats are random upon lvl up

Since my game needs an update I guess my previous edits for max hp/mp at level up have been undone. So just to be clear, when using this, Hp and Mp gain are max for all party members? I cant be bothered to edit them myself anymore. (i recall editing all the minimun numbers per level to be the same as the maximum I guess you did the same? ) Tnx!
Well actually I still had the modded files (battle_pack.bin) and I could just simply injectect them back in. So Im still getting that perfect MP/HP on level up.

You don't remember where the values were so I can edit it myself, roughly at least, or just share the file? You never mentioned you edited the file, so I had no idea it's even possible, because I tried it back then and my edits didn't work and I gave up pretty fast.

EDIT2: Editing those values only modifies minimums, but gain range is still the same. So for example if you change 10 to 11. Where you would have previously got 10-15 HP on level up, it would end up being 11-16 after editing it.

honestly I dont recall on how anymore, I believe i was using a early release of the party editor.. my edit to the file might not be 100% perfect but I recall when getting Fran and Baltier, both of them had max hp/mp for their respected level. but im content with the edit as I still dont see such file uploaded anywere.
Tried to play with it more but found nothing that could affect hp/mp other than those values, so no idea how you did it. I guess I'll never know if you don't want to share the file. Also I don't think party editor had anything to do with this, that was cheat engine table. Editing minimum values only is not enough, so if that's all you did, then I have no idea why it works for you.

I don't think it is a problem, it's not like you are uploading the whole game, upload it to dropbox or something. But if you don't want to risk it, send me a request.

You need the lua loader, and then put the script file in the game's folder \x64\scripts
