Αναφορά προβλήματος μετάφρασης
Vaan - Shikari/Time Mage - Dirty little street urchin thief, with ability to stop time.
Balthier - Machinist/Archer - Background. And second protagonist of the game.
Fran - Monk/Black Mage - Have you seen her raged special attack! And magic sensibility.
Basch - Knight/Bushi - THE knight. ;) And main protagonist of the game.
Ashe - Foebreaker/Uhlan - This chick is brutal. Mental and physical. Not an once magic in her.
Penelo - White Mage/Red Mage - Healing dumb Vaan was her job, her whole life. A walking and talking band aid.
I try to count their behavior and background into the planning in my first playthough on PC.
Penelo - White Mage / Machinist
Balthier - Uhlan / Time Mage
Fran - Archer / Red Mage
Basch - Knight / Monk
Ashe - Black Mage / Bushi
The only one I'm iffy about is Balthier, but Uhlan's an amazing class, and should cover up the Time Mage aspect.
Basch can use Monk for some great buffing WM - Specifically Bravery and Faith
Katanas scale with both attack and magic, and Ashe is pretty good with a sword and magic.
Fran - Burning Bow + Ardor's kinda silly.
Penelo - Guns do pre-set amounts of damage, so I don't have to worry about abysmal attack stats, and she can stay far away from the fight to heal and aid. ...And attack when there's a free moment.
Penelo - White Mage / Machinist
Balthier - Foebreaker / Shikari
Fran - Uhlan / Time Mage
Basch - Knight / Bushi
Ashe - Red Mage / Archer
It's mainly intended to balance out weaknesses for a well-rounded party. Access to everything (if Espers are distributed accordingly), and convenient setups for the tougher bosses.
A few combos like Knight/Bushi, Red Mage/Archer, and Foebreaker/Shikari are fairly obvious pairings but I suppose there's room to develop things.
It's been AGES since I played Zodiac though, and things may change after a couple of playthroughs. I'm sure I'll work on a min/max setup at some point where I just focus on a few key characters even if it neglects others.
Balthier - White Mage / Shikari
Fran - Machinest / Foebreaker
Basch - Knight / Bushi
Ashe - Time Mage / Uhlan
Penelo - Red Mage / Shikari
main reasoning is optimized animation speeds for higher dps.
look at this chart for more info ( https://puu.sh/zeZ4U/36c78a5274.png )
Vaan having the overpowered Monk + Black Mage will help with pretty much everything
Balthy White Mage is a requirement
Fran being sub par in every stat gets the RNGesus prayer class.
Basch has the highest combo speed with katanas and contrary to popular belief Ashe is not the best with katanas. she is slower with combo speed and general animation timing and Basch's higher strength plays more into damage than Ashes Magick stat. Dual classing with Knight also boosts katanas even more with strength boosting armor.
Ashe is perfectly serviceable as a time mage and with her fastest animation times being with spears Uhlan made the most sense to me.
Penelo is in the same boat as Ashe but with ninja swords instead of spears. Kind of redundant but i end up dumping her for a better party setup but Red Mage will carry in the beginning of the game.
Main party for the bulk of the game will probably be Vaan, Balthy, and Basch. Backup will be Fran, Ashe and Vaan probably. Penelo on the bench where she should be
Interesting choice of licences for Balthier.
I will main Vaan DPS, Basch Knight and Ashe as a healer.
Choose your first boards well, because you don't get the second choices until after Wraithwall's Tomb. That's ~15hrs for a first timer's playthrough.
Balthier - Machinist/Time Mage
Fran - Archer/Red Mage
Basch - Uhlan/Black Mage
Ashe - Knight/White Mage
Penelo - Bushi/Shikari
Don't have much useful magic pre-2nd class, but high health and damage early on makes getting there a breeze.
That makes sense, yeah that'll take quite a while to get there.
I think it’s the same for Penelo with guns and crossbows.
Their attack animations cause them to attack something like 0.2 seconds slower than other characters with those weapons. It’s one of those things you can’t un-notice once you notice haha.
Stolen from ganefaqs:
Boys Have faster Combo Speeds, so make your Genji Glove user Boys.
Fastest Pole users are Fran and Basch.
Fastest Katana users are Balthier and Basch.
Fastest Ninja Sword users are Balthier and Penelo.
Fastest 1H Sword users are Vaan, Balthier and Basch. (Included this since the Masamune I is classified as a 1H sword and not a Katana.)
Edit: so I plan to min/max by doing stuff like...
Basch being knight/Bushi
Fran being monk/X
Penelo something like shikari/RM
Ashe is usually my black or white mage/breaker as her vitality stat is best (I think).
I hate seeing Vaan so I make him w/e I’m gonna use the least lol.
Balthier is the fastest spear user I think so uhlan/archer for him.
Vaan: Hunter + Samurai or Breaker
Basch: Knight + Samurai
Ashe: White Mage + Machinist
Balthier: Uhlan + Time Mage
Fran: Black Mage + Monk or Red Mage
Penelo: Black Mage + Red Mage or Monk.
If Fran takes Monk, Pen takes Red, and vice versa.
Hun/Sam would be a Yiazmat slayer(Yagyu/Genji Glove/Black Robe), Hun/Break more general power.
Any thoughts or suggestions here? :)
SHK / RDM: Decent offense, plenty of support options, robes to support Yagyu damage, and with an Indigo Pendant, the RDM's Death spell is surprisingly reliable against most non-undead enemies in this game (especially large flyers). Makes early runs through Nabudis much easier.
KNT / BUS: These two classes synergize so well on every front that it's hard to justify not having this pair.
MCH / FBK: Farming up an early Mithuna makes this a reliable damage-dealing monster for most of the game. I don't really like the Foebreaker class but if you're going to have berserk-bot gunner, Focus and Adrenaline are one of the few ways to improve your damage and another late-game source of breaks doesn't hurt. Since guns aren't stat-dependent, this also gives you someone to use Light armor on without feeling like you're sacrificing damage.
MNK / TIM: Can get all of the breaks, Poles are decent weapons, TIM brings heavy armor to support them, high HP and Balance can do respectable damage through most of the game, and while Time Magic, by and large, isn't that great, the Hastes are still nice to have without needing to farm up motes.
I'll likely run BLM / RDM and KNT / WHM in the last two slots just because I'm tired of some of the more traditional pairings.
As for who gets what, the stat differences are so marginal that I usually just end up picking whoever I feel fits thematically.
