Game runs too fast
I don't know what's going on, but the gameplay runs way too fast. However, the audio is at normal speed meaning that it is horribly out of sync. Why?

Did you activate turbo mode ?

you can activate turbo mode by pressing L1, also a option in menu

My game runs way too fast, also. It's around 480 frames per second! Audio is at the right speed, but menus are unnavigatable.

Try limiting frames through vsync or inspector. Hopefully that would work. I just hope this is one of those games where inspector won't do anything >_<

Fix: set v-sync to "on" and desired refresh rate to "application controlled" in Nvidia control panel for FFXII. That runs the game in 60 fps for me at least, on a 165hz monitor.

Still won't run more than 5 seconds of the intro movie though in my case before it crashes. ♥♥♥♥.

I have issues with Crashing in Star Ocean cause I have to high Default Format Quality in my Audio speaker settings in windows. 44100-4800 Hz is the sweet spot for me. Maybe it's the same for this game.

Hmm, I'm at 24-bit 48000 Hz. May try lowering it. Thanks for the tip.

its not in turbo mode and there is no option to set the refresh rate to application controlled. its either 60hz, 59hz or 50hz

How high does your monitor go? If it only goes to 60 Hz, there's no reason you should experience this issue. Someone else said that running the game in borderless window works better than full screen. Might want to give that a go.
