It's in the main post that he states feedback is welcome.
And no, I can't even imagine the two words you are thinking as I'm not an English native speaker and I struggle a bit even typing this comments.
Ok that makes sense. You all made great points. I didn't take into consideration how buffing the bosses could potentially make everything else all wonky due to the nonlinear nature of the game. Besides, it looks like a couple of modders on Nexus already made what I was looking for. After I finish my SFF playthrough I'll just look into other peoples' mods. Thanks for the replies! And thanks for the hard work on this great mod!
However, wearing the DA isn't really a bad idea overall since it makes the rare item in a chest more common and can increase the Gil gain.
Would be great if theres a mod specifically tailored around new game+, with enemy stats rebalanced around items that are available during their first encounter.
That would be a neat mod, yeah.
I've actually drafted quite a bit in the way of ideas for it- what spells would look like, equipment, etc.- but it would have such a niche audience that I would rather work on other things first. After all, who'd want to play SFF multiple times? :P
The license board stat bonuses kinda cap out when you get into late game.Meaning there isnt much to put points in after around giruvegan. Is there any way to add some bonuses there so lp would be meaningful late game?
Oh and with the strength bonuses your strength caps out at 99 pretty early. Does the game code allow you to increase your attack power via strength in any way beyond this 99 limit?
I did one playthrough in March, going to do another one now with 1.9
If you see yourself capped somewhere, a good idea is to adjust the gear you're wearing to maybe get some other stats out of it that you need more, rather than overcapping. Two jobs generally means a lot of flexibility as to what you're wearing, and SFF especially has a ton of special effects on gear that might be worth exploring.
I looked up a map afterwards to see if I had explored everywhere (I was just drawing a map as I went which was a lot of fun and would recommend for anyone when they get to this area) but couldn't find Shellga where it mentions. Has it been moved somewhere else for the mod?
Loving the mod so much. It really picked up after Raithwall. And then went up another notch entering Phon I think. My only criticism would probably be that Exodus and Shemhazai are quite overpowered maybe? And you get them very soon to be dealing 13k+ damage... Deathscythe died from endless comets... I assume perhaps like in FFX you intend the summons to be a bit of an "easy mode" option if the player chooses so they can keep progressing.
As for Espers, Espers are in a weird place right now and are the list to be completely redone come the next update. It's really tough getting a good balance on them since they scale so weirdly. I agree that some are definitely too powerful at the moment. (I'm looking at you, Zeromus and Exodus!)
