So who am i supposed to give the trophies to? i mean there is literally no hints to their rewards. I guess im interested in getting zodiac escutcheon and zodiac spear since ive never obtained them before but not sure outside of that. I mean i got the ensanguined shield but the permanent poison/sap is annoying

Like so many things, it would be a matter of trial and error (and lots of reloads). I mean there's a hint in the names of the three Bangaa, but that doesn't say anything about the exact trophy numbers you need.

Personally I never bother with the shields, because at the time you can get them evasion is mostly useless anyway. I always get the second pair of Genji Gloves, but if you're not running with 2 combo damage dealers a lot (that aren't Shikaris) then you can get something else.

It doesn't matter for completing the game nor for completing the superbosses.
getting 1-2 slightly diffferent items won't change much - you might be 5 minutes faster on Yiz.
I personally would go for Genji as at the point you finish this questline shields are next to useless.

I think my genji users are basically shikari/foebreaker and knight/bushi. Atm i give them to the knight and the shikari has germinas boots instead. Outside of that i dont have any other combos that can use em. This is the team i rolled with for this playthrough

Shikari/Foebreaker
Knight/Bushi
White/Time
Blm/Monk

Arc/Red
Uhlan/Machinist

Basically i almost never use the bottom two lol altho arc/red isnt that bad now it has ardor. I mean it wasnt really bad per se i just figured when you have a whm/time and a blm in the party, a rdm offers nothing. Uhlan/machinist was pretty useless the whole game tho tbh. Gambits arent intuitive enough to switch weapons/ammo for all the element weakness this combo apparently exploits. I see the appeal but honestly who wants to keep switching manually every 2 mins lol. White Blm and Knight are the random enemies party and then on bosses i just bring in the shikari. It was good to see how some of these "best combos" (meh) work and get some experience with the remaster for a second playthrough

Anyway I defo want the second genji gloves and the zodiac spear, and possibly the zodiac escutcheon as well (despite me agreeing that evasion seems useless now). Is there a list of all the items somewhere and then maybe you can tell me who to give the trophies to based on that? Or maybe that will show me

Which is correct. Germinas Boots are more damage than Genji Gloves for ninja sword users.

But honestly, most of the other rewards are fairly useless. Nothing stands out. Shields are mostly irrelevant at that point, Spears aren't that great. All the other items you can get somewhere else. There really isn't all that much you'd truly want.

Check the wiki, or I'm sure one of the FAQs has a list. Keep in mind that you get items based on who gets how many trophies, but also items at the end after turning in all trophies based on who got the most. Plan carefully.

So for genji gloves it has to be exactly 10 5 5? For example what if i gave 16 instead of 15, or 15 10 5?

Genji gloves require 5/5/15. I believe the recommended way to spend the last 5 is to give them to Stok, making it 5/5/20, which will get you an extra Ribbon and Cat-ear Hood. But alternatives would be giving 10 to Atak for Ame-no-Murakumo and eight-fluted pole or 10 to Blok for a White Mask and Maximillian.

Not exactly, but at least. You can give more, if you have the trophies to spare. But you have to give at least that much if you want to unlock Genji Gloves.

The order doesn't matter, the amounts do. You have to give at least 15 to Stok, at least 5 to Blok, and at least 5 to Atak (in any order). Once they have at least that many each, the Genji Gloves become available on the vendor.

Ah i see. Was curious if it could have been 15 to others etc. Can i even make use of the extra 5 trophies for the npc rewwards like do they have prizes at 16 and 17 for example?

Look at the table, it's fairly complicated. There's just too many combinations.

Tbh if my shikari/foebreaker uses germinas boots whats even the point of another genji gloves when none of my other characters can equip them. Guess thats the downside to knight/bushi on a 12 job run as it means you can only have two characters able to equip them instead of three.

What you want to get out of the Hunt Club depends entirely on your team setup. If you have no use for a second pair of Genji Gloves, then don't get them.

Ill have another look through them then. Got all 30 trophies now. Speaking of trophies theres a complete the bestiary ps4 trophy which is nasty lol
