Pretty much everything in junk is for selling.

I sell every loot that goes over 30 and keep them at 30. I'd say 20 is is prety safe too. Most of the things that go over 30 will be easily farmable anyway if you need more than that. Money becomes a complete non issue later especially if you start using LP to money accessory on your off party when you have maxed their boards.

just look the loot items up: if that item is only used in 1 bazaar bundle, then sell it freely HOWEVER:

a lot of items are used in several bundles. There is a bug in the game where all sold items are "forgotten" by the bazaar once you buy a bundle that used them. For example

Lets say there are 2 bundles that use adamantites, 1 for each bundle

you then sell 20 adamantites and one of those bundles unlocks, but you lack the total ingredients for the 2nd bundle (most bundles require 2/3 types of items) if you buy that unlocked bunde, the 20 adamantites are gone. even though the bundle only needed 1 and there should be 19 left.

its therefore vital to check how many bundles use an item before you sell it. luckily most of the profitable loot is only used in one bundle at the most.

sold items are only "forgotten" once a bundle is purchased though. its therefore possible to sell what you want as long as you don't buy a bundle that shares items with another until you have all the items needed for all bundles that item is used in. So if 2 bundles need 1 adamantite each (for 2 total) and you sell 1 and unlock the 1st of the 2 bundles, if you wait until you unlock the 2nd bundle, then you can get both bundles unlocked with only 1 adamantite. Hope that makes sense lol.

For most of the game you can sell pretty much everything you get. There are just a few items that you can keep to either get slightly better quest-reward or make 1-2 battles slightly easier.
only at the mid7late game you might want to look at what to keep. But items you get as normal drops regularly you can freely sell.

other than teleport stones and I think the great serpentskin.

Can't remember if selling it breaks the side quest for it or not.

No, you just get different rewards. You can sell the other stuff you get for it, too. Most quest-related items can be sold.

While I never did trudge all the way to the end, I always sold all but teleport stones as those have another use. As others have said, selling items in the bazzar will generate rewards in it. Sometimes it's based on item count, sometimes combinations, and the rewards get better. At first you may be turned off because you get a measly few potions, but they get bettter. You also get a lot of gil selling those treasures.

Bazaar purchases are also cheaper than buying something from a normal shop (though many bazaar items are unique to the bazaar). I'm fairly certain that the cost for a bazaar pack is identical to the total of what you can sell all of the items in it for.

So no risk if you don't know what's in the pack.

So what you guys are saying is selling stuff unlocks those items. You do not need anything to actually craft them. So its best to sell everything except teleport stones

Well, selling them IS crafting. Or rather, it's you selling it on the open market and imaginary "craftsmen" buying them and making stuff they then put on the bazaar. Explanation aside, it's literally just what other games do with crafting - put in items X, Y, Z, receive item A.
