which ninja swords are worth it?

The only ninja sword that's worth it is the Yagyu Darkblade, and that's only if the character who can use it can equip mystic armor. The problem with Ninja swords, is they're not much stronger than daggers, and you can use a shield along with a dagger. My shikari went breaker as a 2nd class, so I can't use mystic armor. I stole a Grand Trango from Zodiark and use that. Craps all over the Yagyu Darkblade, and I can equip a Gendarme along with it for quite the OP pairing!

Grand Trango is stronger than Yagyu Darkblade pretty much no matter what. Including enemy weak vs dark + dark robes equipped. Ninja swords partly scale from speed, I think. Whereas 1h swords, spears, and Gswords all scale purely from STR. A much easier stat to max. You need Germinas Boots equipped to even come close to maxing out speed on any character. It's not a stat you get much of from leveling.

Even breaker weapons are better than Ninja Swords, IMO. They scale from STR and VIT, but you get more VIT from gear than you do speed, and they got pretty decent attack. And you can use a shield.

Yagyu Darkblade is situational useful (so make sure you unlock its license first). Otherwise just stick with Mina + your best shield (Zodiac Escutcheon, Gendarme, etc).
