Demonsbane removed from tomb..why..WHY

I get to a point in where I finally defended the first wall on the first time I entered the Tomb of the Wrathful only to find out they patched out the Bemonsbane reward fron the chest ;_; only got some scythe note for it... Was kinda disapointed to find out it was removed.

And I didn't even get an achievment for it lol

Anyone knwo why they did this?

This is not FF12 from PS2, this is a remaster of FF12 ZA from PS4 in 2016, they changed a ton of stuff around but as for chest locations and loot everything is the same from the PS4 version. And from what I'm reading it's not in Zodiac Age at all, people say to just go for the Deathbringer which is stronger and can be found in Barhiem Passage after getting the key.

Those sorts of changes were made in the "international" version (which only released in Japan lol) over a decade ago.

Hmm it should still be in there as it is on the licence board. Ill just have to wait in the later stages of the game or deathbringer.

Shortly after Raithwall, you can travel to the North Bank of the Estersand and pretty easily get all the Demonsbanes you want (along with several other fairly high end weapons for that point in the game) from fairly common chests outside of the village.

The Deathbringer is only slightly more difficult to get a hold of at that point but either way, this change hasn't delayed access to good one-handed swords by much.

I do wish there was something slightly more interesting than a Scathe Mote behind that first wall but there it is. Such is life.

Ill check it out and for the amount of effort needed to defeat it on that stage you should have atleast gotten an achievment.

I agree, most new players will get their butts kicked by the first Demon Wall. I guess it's a little like Ba'Gamnan in the Lhusu Mines - which also doesn't really give you anything.
