Cheat to select any License on Board?
(This is a long intro to my post, so skip to the CAPSED words if you don't want to read my personal note)
Look, i'm a capricious person.
I love to get everything from a game.

When i see incomplete Bestiary - i want to complete it.
When i see a sticker-book like inventory in Zelda, i want to collect all those items.

And it would really bug me if i will finish the game, with license board incomplete near the end.
I already divided 12 jobs by 6 characters, and i thought that thanks to that i can get everything.

But... you know it already. Gaps on License Board and... inability to get all 4 Ninja Sword licenses for Shikari.

Is there any cheat that would allow you to select any License on License Board? That means that you wouldn't need to open a neighbouring license to open a needed license...

Don't worry, i will not go wild by using this cheat. I will open those licenses that i see fit for my current progression. (I don't open Armor 4 license before getting an armor that this license allows to use, i don't open White Magick 5 before getting corresponding spells)

P.P.S. I DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE MY CHARACTER'S JOBS. I'm fine with my setup, all 12 Jobs are in use. I just want to get ALL the abilities on their boards.

Well theres a mod that allows you to change to the old (FFXII) license board, i think this is the closest you can get to your request right now.

Yeah I would just mod over to the original board, I'm planning on doing that this afternoon myself.

I don't want original License Board...

I want my character to have 2 unique license boards, so they would have set roles...

I want my Vaan to be Shikari/Time Battlemage, Not some Jack of all Trades...

I like the idea of characters to have unique jobs, and original License board is too boring...

Grab the VBF Browser and Zodiac Planner files (both of which are featured items on the front page last I looked). They're pretty easy to use and will let you edit the job boards however you like and re-add them to the game.

Knowing absolutely nothing about how they worked, it took me about a half-hour from download to finish to move the locked licenses on all 12 boards.

...I tried it yesterday...

I edited the boards, i re-checked the changes a few times in Zodiac Planner, then used VBF Browser to insert them...
...Did not work.

It is because it doesn't work on saves with already chosen Jobs?

BTW, will Boards in your mod keep their form similar to Zodiac Signs?
Because if you look closely... let's say, at Time Battlemage board, it looks like a Libra Sign.

I did as you said...

Injected my modified Boards with VBF, exited the program, restarted, injected them again...

Did not work.


...Can you provide me some EXACT instructions ^_^
Maybe i closed it the wrong way...
Maybe i am supposed to do something after it finished insecting with a console window?
Maybe i'm injecting to the wrong folder? (Though it's exactly the folder people say to inject)
Maybe i should run it with administor rights?

Right now i resetted all the jobs and licenses for each character... and THEN inserted that folder...

...did not work again Q_Q
