Black Mage OP

My Fran just spamming lv3 spell (Firaga, thundaga, etc) and boom 9-13k damage area while my knight only deal 3k ish damage. But i have this weird thing....fran's mp doesnt go down after she cast spell...im not sure if its bug or not

It's not a bug, Black Mages have a myriad of ways to relenish MP. From casting spells to being damaged.

Magic is pretty good, aye - when it comes to multiple targets. On single targets, especially sustained damage, it cannot compete with combo melee. But then again nothing can, so...

Lol i just got scathe spell and Fran seems unstopabble....She still hit 10k+ to gilgamesh even tho his def up (cirtical hp), My knight only able to hit 900 dmg....And she basically have unlimited MP, I decided to stop using magic and set my fran to use atk only, too OP (Scathe hit 20k to normal mob)

Funny fact, you can get scathe spell when you kill the antlion very early in the game XD

Think he means Ardor. Though by the time you've cast Oil you could've just killed them.
