I heard the game ends once you defeat the last boss.

To get the achievement, do I need to get everything else first, or can you reload and keep the boss data? How does this factor into Trial Mode? Can you keep the data from that?

There's no save prompt when you end the game, hence keeping your last save before you got inside Bahamut. Also enemies inside it is not counted in the beastiary.

Yes, you can keep data as long as you load that file. Similar to how you keep the items you steal/get.

killing specific monster on Trial Stage counts for this achievment also.
only 1 kill is suffecient, no need to gather 100% all page infos open

and yap last boss dungeon bahabaha not needed for the this achievment
