I agree, I just felt that the original was more challenging which is why I prefer it, I think this version could be the best with some nice mods to make the game more challenging or just bring back the HP, and immunities enemies had in the original, IMO they shouldn't have messed with the difficulty.
That isnt what that means
It means they maximized the amount you are able to get through the course of the game compared to the original. Meaning they increased the amount you get through Quests/Enemies.
That doesnt specifically mean Maximized as in, oh hey we added cheats so you can get a billion points and gil.
Well...
Once upon a time, people had to get a "GameShark" or "Action Replay" disk to use in-game cheats. There have been stuff called "trainers" for cheating on pc games which require you to find and download them, in order to use them. Now there is no need to move a single muscle, because they are present in the main menu of the game, from the begining (not even included as second time playthough additional cheat options)
And also it might be called an insult for the first time players, which will lower the value of their grinding process (because it can be done with an in-game button switch) and somehow their will to grind (which is the essential and sometimes pretty joyful part of the JRPGs).
I wish they could make people enable or disable these cheats (if they have to put some in the game) via game launcher and not via main menu, or completely remove them, so the cheat-using fam can press a few buttons on their keyboard to search for a "trainer" on google.
FF games usually don't have cheat options on the PS4. Wish we could get the same version as people get it on the PS4. There are many people who don't own a PS4 to buy these games on PC for a "second playthrough", and it is their first try on the game.
Anyways, it was my opinion, not forcing anything to anyone.
And Dear Square do never listens to their customers.
We have discussed plenty about these FF in-game cheats in the thread below.
OP should not be amazed if there are many people who disagree with him and act towards him aggressively, because his idea differs from the others

... it's a clear sign, to identify a "peasant". PC or console does not matter.
He says: "Options are baaaaaaad! Don't give them to us! We feel cheated, because they should not even exist!"
I cannot believe there are people like that on Steam, too. For gods sake, do not use this cheats, if you think they are not OK. Or are you so weak, that you are not able to resist?
But don't force "the casuals" to play on our level. They don't have the time or patience to play games properly, as we play them. Hell, they are even willing to pay money, to NOT play a game like in "Shadow of War".
Options are good for us all. The more people are able to play the game, because of that.
Because they didnt actually mention Boosters like they did in previous games
And it seems more like the maximum amount of both are being increased in the ways that you get them, instead of it magically saying that it means you'll get those cheats.
Yes, those boosters ARE possible, but i highly doubt thats what it meant.
But IZJS was easier than the original game, since the individual job boards make a character more powerful than mastering the entire original license board, since equipment is also stronger, has more positive effects, there is no damage limit, and bosses can have their stats broken.
Nope, vanilla FFXII became much easier because everyone at the end was super OP and everyone could do everything.
Pfft, fu<king pu$$y.
