This thread is still on the first page, so rather than making duplicate ones, why don't you check the link mentioned on that page, and in the system requirement tester, give your system specs: https://steamcommunity.com/app/595520/discussions/0/1651045226232577742/

I really doubt it'll run very well, if at all

You kidding right? If i can run at 60fps with my i3 4160 duo core, so can he. Maybe at lower settings.

Okay, I checked, here's the link: https://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=23942&game=Final+Fantasy+XII%3A+The+Zodiac+Age&popSysReqRAM=6&p_make=Intel&p_deriv=Core+2+Duo+E7500+2.93GHz&gc_make=Nvidia&gc_deriv=GeForce+GT+710&ram=6&checkSubmit=#systemRequirements

Your CPU has about 66% of the CPU power needed for minimum requirements. This is already a bad approach. However, what really hurts is your GPU, which has about 12% of the power needed for minimum requirements. It's likely that even with the lowest graphics settings, your game either doesn't start at all, or it performs like a slideshow, being practically unplayable. Your CPU is from 2009 and your GPU is extremely weak, so an upgrade is very much needed, especially for your GPU.

The game is pretty light on CPU usage, but effects like Shadows, Antialiasing and Ambient Occlusion require a strong GPU, especially on higher resolutions.

The game will run fine in low resolutions. Those effects can be turned off if not in the game settings he can use the nvidia control panel to set a profile for the game to manually turn them off. I played the game at 1080P 45FPS with a Q9650 and a GeForce GTX 560 TI with 8GB DDR2 running Windows 10.

It will run, not great, but ok.
The GT710 is just a lot weaker than even current itnel iGPUs. So on mid-low settings 10 will run ok, x-2 will need slightly lower settings.
The UHD 630, current iGPU for intel CPUs, is anywhere form 50 to 100% faster.
