Mist walker achievement
Good lord is this the dumbest achievement ever... I've been at it for almost 3 hours now, and it's what's keeping me from getting the final achievement. Anybody got a good guide? The wiki has no strategy on it whatsoever.

honestly there is no strategy, its just praying that you get quickenings in the right order. Just rng.
Keep hammering at it and you should eventually get it.

I got this achievement myself a few days ago, it did take me hours, but here was my strategy for getting black hole:

1) Open with a level 3 quickening
2) Always take mist charge if available
3) Most important one: Continue tapping the same button right after you do mist charge so you immediatly use a quickening. Another mist charge might show up but it takes too long to re-scan the list while the timer is counting down and you don't get any "free time" to read the list like you normally do.
4) After mist charges, prioritize the highest level quickenings. What's even more important than that is just hitting the quickening quickly though. If you can't scan quickly enough you will get it anyway just by luck if you just spam buttons.
4) Keep track in your head of how many you have of each quickening, I would just think in my head "0 0 1" or"1 2 3" (e.g. 1 level 1 quickening, 2 level 2 quickenings, 3 level 3 quickenings.) It would suck to lose out on blackhole because you got too many level 3 quickenings and not enough level 1s.
5) I'm sure you know this, but you can recharge quickenings by using a save point. I used the save point in giza plains and would go west, quickening one enemy, switch party, quicken another enemy, go back to the save point and save, go east, quicken one enemy, switch party, quicken another enemy, repeat.
6) In case you don't know, R2 to shuffle the quickenings, you can get away with about 3 shuffles and still get black hole. Similar to picking quickenings after a mist charge, just spam buttons instead of reading the list.

I tried getting it for years on the PS2 and couldn't.
Got it pretty quickly without trying here. Granted that's partially because you can spam quickenings without consequence now.

anyway do this

Though I don't think it's necessary to keep an actual count, just have a ballpark idea of what levels you've seen a lot of and what levels you haven't.

Of course the last intercession I got on this play through wasn't even black hole, it was ark blast, which is mid-level. So again, RNG so you get them all.

Actually, it's pretty easy if you have a "macro keyboard". Configure the cancel, battle, party, and flee button up. I did this first try when I set this up correctly and I got 19 hits with a blackhole.

Not sure about him, but I've played everything on PC with keyboard and mouse, including dark souls 1,2,3. It's way easier in my opinion.
