Ktjn Sidequest

looking for advice on this quest or at the very least some clarification.

So I have a problem completing this quest I looked up a walkthrough for the game because I was curious if I missed anything and I saw this quest. I started to try and complete hunts and sidequests and I'm pretty far into the game. I realized that this quest requires you to talk to her after certain parts of the game but I had already passed all of them except for the one part where you have to beat judge Burgan. I talked to her once and I gave her an answer but when I go back to talk to her she says the same thing over and over and I never get to answer her second question. I've tried completing other side quests and hunts just to see if she will give me the second question but it doesn't work. Did I completely mess up this quest or am I just missing something?

You didn't mess up, it just takes quite some time for her to move on to the next step if you don't follow the story checkpoints. You can still complete it later in the game (though the rewards are probably fairly useless by then).

Thanks so much for clarification I was afraid I would be SOL I like collecting everything in videogames even how worthless they are

Well you only get one reward depending on how well you do. None of them are items not easily gotten elsewhere at some point.
